PURPOSE: To execute the unitary management of a reservation of an examination, and to prevent a fact that the reservation is overlapped, and the same patient is reserved in a short time zone by providing a reservation management file for managing the reservation in a department, and checking an overlap reservation and an adjacent reservation of each examination item of the department.

CONSTITUTION: A reservation state display means 31 displays a reservation state table on a screen in accordance with information selected by a reservation management file 20 and an examination information selecting means 30. An operator inputs the data and hour of a reservation by an input means 50 in accordance with a displayed state table. A reservation setting means 32 sets temporarily the data and hour of a reservation, an examination apparatus to be used (modality), an examination start time, and an end time to a full name of a patient, and a set information confirming means 47 checks whether an overlap reservation is executed to the same modality on the same data and hour or not. Moreover, with regard to the same patient, whether the examination is scheduled in a short time zone or not is checked. When it is confirmed that the overlap reservation and the adjacent reservation are not executed, a reservation management file control means 46 registers an examination information ID and the data and hour of a reservation in the file 20.
