Abstract:
To provide a system for reserving facilities such as a toilet.
The system has a reservation management server 3 connected through a network 2 to the portable terminal 1 of a specified user, an electronic lock 5 installed on the door of a toilet 4, and a controller 6 connected to the server 3 for locking and unlocking the lock 5 in compliance with instructions from the server 3. The server 3, upon receiving a request from the terminal 1 for a reservation of the toilet 4, transmits to the controller 6 an instruction to secure the toilet 4, and thus the controller 6 has an availability-limiting function of locking up the lock 5 as instructed.
