Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce damage of a protection board and a lateral reinforcing core member and to improve vibration absorbing performance by forming a drive/guide projection at the inner face side of a crawler body and mounting a protection board at least onto a projection corresponding to the lateral reinforcing core member. CONSTITUTION:Drive/guide projections 15 are formed with same interval on the inner circumferential face of a crawler body 10 between a pair of drive holes 14 adjoining in circumferential direction with the base side thereof stretching laterally outward from the drive holes 14, and a protection board 16 is mounted at least onto a projection corresponding to a lateral reinforcing core member 13. When a vehicle runs, a drive sprocket is engaged with the projections 15 of the crawler body 10 and the drive holes 14 and driven, while a truck frame slides on the projections 15. Here, a resilient material layer between the protection board 16 and the lateral reinforcing member 13 is sufficiently thick to protect them from damage, while the distance between to projections 15 and the tip of a ground lug 11 is long enough to improve vibration absorbing performance.
