To eliminate breakage in a drawing step during machining and disadvantage of the peeling of a coating film due to biting.
In a film of a resin-coated aluminum constituted by regulating Mg in a surface oxide film of a base material and arranging a coating film comprising a polymer resin and a wax, in which particulate wax of a particulate size of 70% or less of the resin layer thickness is dispersed in the film and the wax of the same composition is spread in the form of laminae on the surface, the film quantity is 0.1 to 3.0 g/m2, the particulate wax quantity in the film is 1 to 50% of the film quantity, the laminar wax quantity on the film is 10 to 50% of the film quantity, and the area where the laminar wax occupies in the film surface is 25% or more. It is preferable that the polymer resin is a resin consisting of one or more an epoxy resin, a urethane resin, and an acrylate resin, the wax is polyethylene wax.
