PURPOSE: To obtain excellent resin-coated paper for printing, based on paper as a substrate, capable of providing a clear print, excellent in printing quality and appreciating properties of the print without causing especially a missing white space of transfer in a printed part and unevenness of density of the print and having a high printing gloss and having the double-side printability.

CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this resin-coated paper for printing comprises paper which is a substrate having a specific value or below of an unevenness index to film thickness measured by using a film thickness measuring instrument, a resin which is a polyethylene-based, a polypropylene-based, a polyester-based or a polycarbonate-based resin and the resin surface embossed with a finely roughened cooling roll in the resin-coated paper for printing having at least one paper substrate surface coated with a resin.
