Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the subject resin composition excellent in adhesion to a base material, shelf life, water resistance, smoothness, etc., and useful as various kinds of coating materials, etc., by introducing a polymerizable unsaturated group into a specified modified chlorinated polyolefin and polymerizing a specified monomer composition therewith.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is obtained by reacting (B) an OH- containing polymerizable unsaturate monomer such as a (meth)acrylic acid hydroxyalkyl ester with (A) a chlorinated polyolefin modified with maleic anhydride or itaconic anhydride to introduce the polymerizable unsaturated group into the component (A) and polymerizing (C) a monomer composition containing a carboxyl group-containing unsaturated monomer such as a (meth)acrylic acid ester or a (meth)acrylamide with the unsaturated group thereof.
