Abstract:
To provide a resin composition which has good heat resistance while maintaining high flame retardance, and a covered electric wire using the same.SOLUTION: A resin composition contains a thermoplastic resin, a halogen-based flame retardant, and zeolite having a pore size of 8 Å or less. In the resin composition, a difference between a midpoint temperature of the resin composition composed of the thermoplastic resin and the zeolite and a midpoint temperature of the halogen-based flame retardant may be 100°C or less. A covered electric wire 1 includes a covering layer 3 formed of the resin composition, and a conductor 2 covered with the covering layer 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
