PURPOSE: To improve durability and molding processability by a method wherein a resin composition for dust cover is formed of polyoxymethylene glycol the number average molecular weight of which is specified, a chain extension agent, and a polyether thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer melt viscosity of which is specified.
CONSTITUTION: A dust cover 4 is located between a socket part 6 in which the spherical part 7 of a ball stud 1 is inserted through the force of a spring 8 and a knuckle arm 2 through a reinforcing ring 3 and a caulking ring 4. In this case, a resin composition for a dust cover 4 consists of (A) plyoxymethylene glycole the number average molecular weight of which is 1500-2500; (B) a chain extension agent, and (C) a polyetherthermoplastic polyurethane elastomer prepared by reacting organic disocyanate. The polyether thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer specifies melt viscosity at 200°C to 0.5×10-1.0×106 poise.
