Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition which does not injure the material in sliding contact therewith and shows excellent sliding characteristics by using a resin containing a specified amount of specified carbon fiber.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition is formed from a resin (e.g. polyacetal resin) containing 0.1 to 1wt.% carbon fibers having a diameter of 0.01-5μ made by the vapor phase growth method (e.g. carbon fibers synthesized in a floating state by introducing trisacetylacetonatoiron and benzene into a heated space).
