PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition effective for imparting excellent antistaticity or electromagnetic wave shielding performance by compounding a specific cycloolefin polymer with a specific amount of an electrically conductive filler. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of resin components consisting of (i) a cycloolefin random copolymer which is a random copolymer of ethylene and a cycloolefin of formula I ((n) is 0 or 1; (m) is >=0; (q) is 0 or 1; R<1> to R<18>, R and R are H, halogen or hydrocarbon group; R<15> to R<18> may be bonded with each other to form a monocyclic or polycyclic group; etc.) or formula II ((p) and (q) are 0 or >=1; (m) and (n) are 0, 1 or 2; R<1> to R<19> are H, halogen, aliphatic hydrocarbon group, etc.) and having a softening point of >=70 deg.C, (ii) a cycloolefin ring-opened polymer produced by the ring-opening polymerization of the cycloolefins of formula I and formula II and (iii) one or more cycloolefin polymers prepared by the hydrogenation of the above ring-opened polymers with (B) 5-100 pts.wt. of an electrically conductive filler composed of electrically conductive carbon and/or metal powder.
