Abstract:

To provide a resin composition excellent in hue, oxygen permeability, biodegradability, and mechanical characteristics.SOLUTION: The resin composition contains: starch and/or modified starch (A); an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) which has an ethylene unit content of 2-60 mol% and a degree of saponification of 90 mol% or more; and a resin (C) which is different from the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) and is water-soluble. The resin composition contains 5-500 pts.mass of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) and 0.5-25 pts.mass of the water-soluble resin (C) based on 100 pts.mass of the starch and/or modified starch (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
