Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition useful as a metal coating material, having high heat resistance and excellent in flexibility and further abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition containing a polyimide resin and/or a precursor thereof, and a polymer having a heterocycle in a side chain, with content of the polyimide resin and/or the precursor thereof of 3 to 80 wt.%w and the polymer having the heterocycle in the side chain of 0.1 to 7 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyimide resin and/or the precursor thereof. There is provided a resin composition for insulation coating material excellent in flexibility while maintaining heat resistance by adding a prescribed amount of the polymer having the heterocycle in the side chain.SELECTED DRAWING: None
