Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having excellent interfacial integrity between resins and excellent mechanical strength by blending specific amounts of a thermoplastic polyamide with an aromatic polyester and a specific graft polymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 5-95wt., preferably 10-90wt.% thermoplastic polyamide (e.g. nylon 6 or polyhexamethylene adipamide) is blended with (B) 95-5 wt.%, preferably 90-10wt.% aromatic polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) and (C) 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.4-7wt.% graft hydrocarbon having 3,000-200,000 number- average molecular weight prepared by copolymerizing a macromonomer having a radical-polymerizable group o one end of a polymer comprising a monomer unit containing a tertiary alkyl ester group and a radical-polymerizable monomer comprising an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer.
