PURPOSE: To prepare a flame-retardant resin composition comprising CaSO3, which has little influence upon the fluidity of the resin even when incorporated in a large quantity, rapidly and homogeneously dispersed in the resin, by incorporating CaSO3 of a specific shape into a thermoplastic or thermosetting resin.
