Abstract:
To provide a resin prism which enables formation of a clear video when being used as a polarization beam splitter.SOLUTION: A resin prism 3 for a polarization beam splitter has an average absolute value of a phase difference of 10 nm or less. A content of a fluorescent emission substance determined using a fluorescein ethanol solution concentration-intensity conversion expression from a fluorescence intensity at a wavelength of 530 nm when being measured at an excitation wavelength of 436 nm in 2.0 mass% solution obtained by being dissolved in chloroform is 0.1 to 4.0×10-9 mol/L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
