Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject resin composed of a water-soluble resin produced by polymerizing a carboxyl-containing polymerizable monomer, isopropenyloxazoline, etc., free from the problems such as toxicity, fire hazard and environmental pollution and suitable for the mending of mortar surface, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective resin is composed of a water-soluble resin produced by polymerizing (A) 2-40wt.% of a polymerizable monomer containing carboxyl group [e.g. (meth)acrylic acid or maleic acid], (B) 0.1-20wt.% of isopropenyloxazoline and (C) 40-97.9wt.% of other polymerizable monomers (e.g. methyl acrylate or styrene).
