To reduce friction resistance to a yarn, reduce the abrasion in a contact part with a ring, carry out spinning of a yarn of good quality with slight yarn fluff and prolong the life of a traveler by mixing and compounding ceramic particles in a nylon resin in the traveler used for a twisting machine for twisting especially glass fibers.

Pellets of the nylon resin and the ceramic particles subjected to a surface treatment with a low friction coefficient and having 2-10 μm average particle diameter are mixed in an injection molding machine. Injection molding is carried out to form a resin traveler for spinning machinery comprising the ceramic particles mixed and compounded in an amount of 10-30 wt.% in the nylon resin and molded into a prescribed traveler shape.
