To provide a resistance sheet capable of detecting a pressing force and detecting a pressing direction with high accuracy in a pressure sensitive switch used for an operation of various electronic devices, the pressure sensitive switch, and to provide an input device employing the pressure sensitive switch.
A terminal connected to a resistor layer of the pressure sensitive switch is connected to a constant voltage power supply, a terminal connected to an electrode of the pressure sensitive switch is connected to a control means, the control means estimates the pressing direction of pressing the resistor layer based on an input voltage applied to the control means via the electrode of the pressure sensitive switch, which can detect the direction pressed by an operator with high accuracy because of generating a predetermined voltage distribution varying depending on a change in direction in which the operator presses, thereby obtaining the resistance sheet, the pressure sensitive switch, and the input device employing the pressure sensitive switch which are suitable for detection of the pressing direction.
