PURPOSE: To efficiently perform resistance welding to a dumping plate made by arranging resin between two plates like a sandwich without causing defective welding.
CONSTITUTION: When performing resistance welding to a sandwich type dumping plate made by putting resin between two plates, a first curve showing a relationship between the amount of a welding current and the shortest energizing time required for the exclusion of the resin, and a second curve showing a relationship between the amount of the welding current and the shortest energizing time to the generation of the rupture of the dumping plate are found. Welding is performed with a current which is less than the intersection of the first and the second curves, and for a time which is more than a time to be determined by the first curve corresponding to a current. Consequently, defective welding does not occur.
