Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a resistance welding method capable of reducing the necessary number of times of dressing work to the electrode tips.
CONSTITUTION: When at least one electrode tip of a couple of electrode tips 8 to weld materials to be welded is inclined from the orthogonal direction to the materials to be welded and rotated intermittently around the electrode tip central axis to perform welding work, when a contact part 17 with the materials to be welded makes one round around the central part 8B of the tip 8A of the electrode tip by intermittent rotation, a rotation angle α of the intermittent rotation is made to have fractions below a decimal point on a value when 360 is divided by α or this rotation angle is decided by random number control so that the position of the contact part 17 is deviated from the first position.
