To enable the respiration in a short period of time in case of emergency such as fire by providing a mouth pad covering the surroundings of the mouth and a sealed bag of which an end part of an opening is connected with the pad continuously so that the air collected in a person's lungs is put in the sealed bag at the time of emergency to perform the temporary respiration.

When a respiration instrument for emergency 10 is used in case of emergency, a sealed bag 12 which is wound is released, a mouth pad 11 is applied to the mouth, and both ends of the mouth pad 11 are pressed by a finger. The air in the lungs of a user is blown out in this condition to collect the air in the sealed bag 12, and the user inhales the air again for respiration. Some amount of oxygen in the sealed bag 12 is suctioned by one time respiration and an amount of carbon dioxide increases, but its amount is small so that it can be used as the air, by which plural number of respirations (temporary respiration) are enabled. Preferably, stoppers 13, 14 are provided and protrude on both sides of the mouth pad 11, and the mouth pad 11 can be simply held around the mouth by pressing the user's hand on these stoppers 13, 14.
