PURPOSE: To apply to various kinds of protective clothing different in pressure specification by providing the rear stage of the air supply source of a device for supplying respiratory air to closed type protective clothing with a pressure regulating means capable of regulating pressure corresponding to the supply pressure every protective clothing at handling of toxic gas.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure air by a compressor 11 is guided into a pressure reducing valve 13, and when the pressure in a safety valve 14 in the front stage of the pressure reducing valve 13 is a prescribed value (about 9.9kg/cm2G) or more, the air is discharged to the outside of a device by the operation of the safety valve 14. When the pressure reducing degree of the pressure reducing valve 13 is preliminarily set to be conformed to either one of protective clothing 20 of low pressure specification and high pressure specification, the air is guided to an interface 12 through a main piping 19 after the pressure of the guided air is reduced and regulated according to the pressure specification. When the pressure in a safety valve 16 is a prescribed value (about 3.5kg/cm2G) or more in case of the low pressure specification, for example, the air is similarly discharged to the outside of the device by the operation of the safety valve 16, and an alarm device 17 is also operated.
