Abstract:

To easily and quickly restrain the arms or the legs of a patient to a bed, or the like, by constituting a utensil in such a manner that a band member which is wound on arm or leg is connected to an attaching member which is attached to a section other than a human body, with a connecting member.

This restraining utensil 1 for human body is formed by connecting a band member 2 which is wound around arm or leg, to an attaching member 3 which is attached to an area other than a human body, with a connecting member 4. The band member 2 is wound around arm, or the like, and fixed with a hook-and-loop tape 5. The attaching member 3 is formed of, e.g. an elastic material into an annular cross section, and also, a cut 3a is provided on the side wall, and is fitted on a bar-shaped section such as the handrail of a bed by opening the cut 3a. The cross sectional shape may be a square or a polygonal shape. The connecting member 4 is formed of a rubber material into a strap shape having an appropriate elastic force. By this constitution, a patient can be easily and quickly restrained, and the patient can obtain freedom of a proper degree as well.
