Abstract:
To provide a retainer capable of space-efficiently and easily accommodating a plurality of containers each having a thick part locally thicker than other parts, and a system and method for container supply using such the retainers.SOLUTION: The retainer 10 includes a horizontally extending bottom part 11, a wall part 12 extending from the bottom part 11 in the height direction, and a housing part 14 surrounded by the bottom part 11 and the wall part 12 and storing a plurality of containers 100. Each container 100 has a thick part 102 locally thicker than other parts. All of the containers 100 stored in the housing part 14 pass a common reference axis Ar extending in a direction parallel to the height direction. The housing part 14 stores the plurality of containers 100 in a state in which the thick parts 102 of the containers 100 are oriented to three or more different horizontal directions about the reference axis Ar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
