Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation film having excellent adhesiveness between an alignment layer and a retardation layer even in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, a polarizing plate-integrated retardation film that has an adhesive layer formed of a cured product of an adhesive layer-forming composition containing an ionization radiation-curable resin, and a polarizer in this order on at least one surface of the above retardation film, and a method for manufacturing the polarizing plate-integrated retardation film.SOLUTION: The retardation film includes, on one surface side of an acrylic resin substrate, an alignment layer comprising a cinnamate-based photo-aligning compound, a mixture region, and a retardation layer comprising a liquid crystalline compound in this order from the acrylic resin substrate side. The mixture region comprises a compound included in the alignment layer and a compound included in the retardation layer and has an average thickness of 25 nm to 70 nm.
