Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mountability of a vehicle and the maintainability of a retarder.SOLUTION: In an attachment structure 1 of a retarder which applies a brake force to a vehicle 2, the retarder 3 includes: a ring shaped retarder body 11 which converts rotational energy of a propeller shaft 7 of a vehicle 2 to electric energy; an air cylinder 12 which extends in a tangential direction of the retarder body 11 and changes an operation state of the retarder body 11; and an electromagnetic valve 13 which is attached to a tip part of the air cylinder 12 and operates the air cylinder 12. The electromagnetic valve 13 is disposed below the propeller shaft 7 in a vehicle vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
