Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the whole heat capacity required for a retreating method from solid carbon-containing material.

CONSTITUTION: The mixture of a high active solid carbon-containing material and a low active solid carbon-containing material is introduced into the lower position than an oxygen-containing gas introducing port 12 at the lower part of a fluidized bed reaction device 1. This mixture is composed of at most 20% of the low active solid carbon-containing material and mainly, the high active solid carbon-containing material combusts under the condition of CO/CO2=0.5-1.5 and the introduced quantity of the mixture is adjusted so as to hold it to 900-1100°C. The majority of an exhaust gas is recirculated as a fluidized gas after removing steam and CO2 and the oxygen-containing gas having >50 vol.% oxygen content is introduced as a secondary gas.
