PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction phosphorus concentration in a waste solution accompanied by development processing and reduction of environmental load by incorporating at least tin ions and a specified chelating agent in the reversing bath.
SOLUTION: This reversing bath composition for color reversal processing contains at least tin (II) ions and the chelating agent represented by formula I or II in which each of M1-M3 is an H or alkali metal atom or an ammonium group; each of (m) and (n) is 1 or 2; X is an H atom or a substituent; each of M4-M7 is an H or alkali metal atom or an ammonium group; l is an integer of 1-4; each of Y and Z is an H atom or a substituent; a tin (II) chelate prepared in advance may be added into the reversing bath. Further, the compound of the formula II is an optical isomer composed essentially of [S, S] group. The photographed color photographic sensitive material is processed by using this reversal bath composition.
