Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appearance differed from the surface without loosing the beautiful appearance, when seen from the exterior side by forming different woven textures on both surfaces of a cloth by a double weave of high density.
SOLUTION: Wefts and warps are driven at a high density by, for example, a jacquard machine to weave a surface warp 2 to a surface weft 1. A surface woven texture with a surface pattern formed by the surface warp 2 in which the surface weft 1 and the surface warp 2 are exposed only to the surface is provided. On the other hand, a reverse woven texture is formed by a reverse weft 3 and a connecting warp 4, an extremely small part of the connecting warp 4 is connected to the surface weft 1 in a connecting point 5 and exposed to the surface, and the surface woven texture is connected to the reverse woven texture. In this case, the reverse wefts 3, 3' and the connecting warp 4 are woven, whereby the reverse woven texture is generally formed with a solid-color connecting warp being exposed to the reverse side, and when the reverse wefts 3, 3' are striped with two or more colors, a stripe pattern is formed, whereby a reversible curtain 6 is provided.
