Title:
REVERSIBLE HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3484700
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade heat resistance and moisture resistance by reversely color developing and erasing a leuco dye and a color developing and reducing agent and incorporating a specific compound in the agent.
SOLUTION: The reversible heat-sensitive recording material comprises a heat sensitive recording layer and a protective layer sequentially laminated and formed on a base material layer. The recording layer contains, for example, a leuco dye, a color developing and reducing agent and a binder resin, and repeats reversely color developing and erasing by a heat. The dye is normally a colorless or pale color electron donative dye precursor. The agent contains an electron donative compound for generating a reverse color tone change at the dye according to a difference of a cooling speed after heating represented by the formula, wherein X1 is an amide, diacylamine or diacylhydrazine when n1 is 0 or 2, or an amide, urea or oxalic diamide when n1 is 1 or 3, and n2 is an integer of 24 or above.
