CONSTITUTION: A reversible thermal recording medium has a film like transparent polyvinyl chloride sheet layer based on a resin matrix and an org. monomeric substance dispersed therein and reverisbly changed in opacity.transparency in dependence on temp. For example, stearic acid and sebacic acid are added to a heated and melted vinyl chloride resin to be dispersed therein and the resulting mixture is melted under stirring to prepare a molten dispersion which is, in turn, subjected to extrusion coating to form a transparent vinyl chloride resin sheet layer reversibly changed in opacity.transparency in dependence on temp. Thereafter, the transparent vinyl chloride resin sheet layer 12 is thermally fused and bonded to a white vinyl chloride resin sheet layer 14 having a light reflecting layer 16 provided to the single surface thereof to obtain a vinyl chloride resin card 1.
