Title:
REVERSIBLY HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07157675
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a compound useful for obtaining a reversibly heat-sensitive colorant composition having a high contrast between the hue on color development and the chromaticity on decoloration by selecting a specified compound.

CONSTITUTION: A reversible heat-sensitive colorant composition is prepared by mixing a compound of formula I with at least one phenol compound selected between a compound represented by formula II [wherein R1 and R2 are each an alkyl, benzyl or a (1C or higher alkyl-substituted) aromatic group; and R3 to R6 are each H, a halogen or an alkyl] and a compound having in the molecule at least two chemical structures represented by formula III (wherein R7 and R8 are each R1, and R9 and R10 are each R3) as a color developer which causes the compound to develop color under crosslinking.
