PURPOSE: To obtain a camera where the photographic preparation is easy and sure, by detecting the end of continuous advancing of a film to rewind the film automatically up to a start position for feed of a prescribed constant length.

CONSTITUTION: When a film is continuously advanced to a patrone 35 to terminate the film advancing, only a torque detecting gear 72 is stopped by the increment of a torque load to detect the completion of the film advancing, and the gear 72 rises through a torque detecting gear 71 which is turned continuously. Thus, a detaining lever 74 is slid, and the connection of a contact piece 79 is switched through a lever 78 where detention is released, and a motor is reversed, and the gear 72 engages with the gear 71 again, and when the rewound film reaches a constant length feed start position for rewinding of one frame at every shutter operation, a switch 45 is opened through a film feeding sprocket and etc. to stop the motor. By this automatic film rewinding up to the constant length feed start position, the photographic preparation is performed easily and surely.
