Title:
RF CIRCUIT FOR OPTICAL DISC UNIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2735412
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress jitter by providing a high-band boost circuit performing a predetermined high-band boosting on an output signal.
CONSTITUTION: An optical disc unit RF adds or substrats output signals from split optical detectors 1A, 1B to produce an RF signal. Output signal is then subjected to high-band boosting through high-band boost circuits 3A, 3B. When an RF signal for a magneto-optical disc unit (MO) or a compact disc unit (CD) is created, at least one of output signals from the split optical detectors 1A, 1B is subjected to high-band boosting through the circuits 3A, 3B and then subjected to addition or subtraction to produce the RF signal. According to the constitution, interval of the RF signal can be widened resulting in suppression of jitter.
