Abstract:

PURPOSE: To use an antenna for TV and FM antennas in common by providing an RF switch connecting a TV/FM common use antenna to a TV/FM branching filter and switching a TV signal from the branching filter and a TV signal from an RF converter.

CONSTITUTION: With the RF switch thrown to the position shown in solid lines with a control signal fed to a control terminal 18, the RF converter 13 is selected and the TV signal therefrom is inputted to an antenna terminal of a TV receiver via a terminal 17. With the RF switch thrown to the position shown in broken lines, the TV signal fetched from an antenna 14 is inputted similarly to the antenna terminal of the TV receiver via the terminal 17. Since the RF modulator A is built in a BS/FM tuner, the system is constituted in such a simple way that the BS antenna and the antenna 14 are connected to the said BS/FM tuner and the terminal 17 is connected to the antenna terminal of the TV recorder.
