Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide new compounds useful in the radiotherapy of liver tumor or the like and having suitable half-life and specific radioactivity.

CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula [wherein R is a (cycloalkyl- or aryl- substituted) 1-10C alkyl, 1-10C alkenyl, 1-10C alkenyl or the like], for example ReO[N-n-hexyl(2,2,9,9-tetramethyl-4,7-diaza-1,10-decanthiol)], is provided by treating 1,1,4,4-tetramethylimidazolidino-[1,2-d]-dithiazepine with an acylating agent to obtain an acyl derivative, treating the obtained acyl derivative with a reducing agent to form a N-CH2-R derivative of 2,2,9,9-tetramethyl-4,7- diaza-1,10-decanthiol and treating the N-CH2-R derivative with rhenium agent in the presence of stannous chloride.
