Abstract:
To provide a ribbon cartridge which can effectively reink a Moebius band type ink ribbon and a recording apparatus.
The ribbon cartridge 42 in which the ink ribbon 44 capable of recording over a plurality of bands is housed in a cartridge case 42A is provided with a reinking mechanism 49 for reinking only the paper surface side of the bands of the ink ribbon 44 to be used for recording immediately after being fed from the cartridge case 42A.
