PURPOSE: To obtain high printing quality by meshing the transfer pulley and transfer auxiliary pulley of an ink supply type ribbon cartridge only in an ink supply region and providing a layer composed of a water-repellent material to the surfaces of the pulleys or constituting two pulleys of a material containing the water-repellent material.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer pulley 2 and a transfer auxiliary pulley 3 are meshed only by the middle stage pulley related to the supply of ink and both pulleys 2, 3 are constituted using 'SUMIFLUNON FP-91(R)' or 'YF-20(R)' a product of POLYPLASTIC. Since the meshing depth of tooth parts is always constant and sufficient meshing quantity can be secured, the remaining of the ink on the transfer pulley 2 is eliminated and the generation of density difference during continuous printing is prevented. Since the used water-repellent material is fluoroplastic, the sliding load of the transfer pulley 2 and the transfer auxiliary pulley 3 is reduced and the load to a printer main body is reduced.
