Abstract:

PURPOSE: To transfer heat of a heating body for retaining heat efficiently to an inner pot by a method wherein the heating body for retaining heat is wound with an aluminum foil and stuck on the inner pot with an adhesive double coated tape to prevent an air layer generated between the aluminum foil and the inner pot.
CONSTITUTION: The main body of a rice cooker has an outer pot 4 inside and the outer pot 4 is provided with an inner pot 5 for holding material to be cooked free to load or unload. A heating body 6 for cooking rice is mounted on a side plate of the outer pot 4 to heat the inner pot 5. After a cord heater 9 for retaining heat is wound with an aluminum foil 10 at an upper part of a side part of the outer pot 4, a fold part 11 is formed by extending and folding a side upper end of the outer pot 4 with an adhesive double coated tape and the cord heater 9 for retaining heat is stuck on the fold part 11.
