Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve higher efficiency in weighing, washing rice and cooking rice by providing a rice washer with a plurality of cookers to move the rice washer to the respective rice cookers.
CONSTITUTION: Rice cookers 6, 7 and 8 are arranged linearly on almost the same place on a frame 9 below an apparatus body 1 and the rice washer 20 is set on a rail 19 free to move. Rice weighed is fed into the rice washer 20 and a washing of rice is performed utilizing a time zone of a rice cooking process of the first cooker 6 and the rice is moved onto the second rice cooker 7. After the cooking of rice, the first rice cooker 6 is taken out of the apparatus body 1 and utilizing this time zone, the washed rice weighed is fed into the second rice cooker 7 while the rice washer 20 is moved to a weighing position to receive the rice weighed. On the other hand, the second rice cooker 7 is shifted to the rice cooking process and a shift is made to a rice washing process for the third rice cooker 8 utilizing the rice cooking time zone. The first rice cooker 6 is set again during the cooking of rice with the second rice cooker 7 and the washed rice weighed is fed into the third rice cooker 8. Thus, effective utilization is possible without the idling of the rice washer 20.
