Abstract:

To provide a rice production method capable of controlling an increase or decrease in the proportion of white core rice.SOLUTION: The rice production method comprises a plasma irradiation step of irradiating a non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma on the glumous flower or caryopsis of rice. The atmospheric pressure plasma generated by the plasma generator is directly applied to the glumous flower or caryopsis of rice. For edible rice, the plasma irradiation step is carried out within 4 days after 0 days of flowering. For sake rice, the plasma irradiation step is carried out within 20 days after 6 days of flowering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
