PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice seed which can effectively control a pest that damages rice.SOLUTION: A rice seed is treated with at least one coating material selected from the following group (A) and at least one agent selected from the following group (B). The group (A) consists of an iron powder, a calcium peroxide and a molybdenum compound. The group (B) consists of a bactericide and an insecticide.
