Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent problems of clogging in which fertilizer intrudes into an air chamber and gradually accumulates there, and accordingly the feeding of pressurized air into a fertilizing hose from the chamber is disturbed, and problems of corrosion in which the air chamber is corroded and deteriorated by the fertilizer intruded into the air chamber when the air chamber is constructed with the metal material.
SOLUTION: In a rice transplanter having a fertilizing apparatus, pressurized air blown into an air chamber 34 from a blower is fed into a fertilizing hose, which sends the fertilizer delivered from a delivering part to a fertilizing spot near the place where seedling is planted and thus, fertilizer is transported through the fertilizing hose by the pressurized air. The air chamber 34 is provided with a closeable opening 34b.
