Title:
RICE WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06285379
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically wash rice simply by supply of city water by introducing the rice supplied onto the intermediate bottom of a rice housing container by the ejected city water into a stagnating box through an outflow port and outflow pipe, rising the rice together with the mist-form city water in a riser and returning the rice from a discharge port via a discharge pipe into the rice housing container.

CONSTITUTION: The rice housing container 1 provided with many through-holes 2 for draining on the peripheral wall at the top end is internally provided with the funnel-shaped intermediate bottom 3. The outflow pipe 6 integrally communicated and connected with the outflow port 5 in the central part of the funnel-shaped intermediate bottom 3 is communicated and connected with the stagnating box 7 disposed adjacently to the container 1. An ejection valve 11 is mounted in the lower part of this stagnating box 7 and the riser 14 is made to communicated and connected with the upper part of the stagnating box 7 opposite to the ejection port 11a of the ejection valve 11. The discharge pipe 16 which is formed to an inverted U shape and is opened in its lower part with the discharge port 16a extending to the aperture at the top end of the container 1 is turnably connected to the top end of the riser 14. Consequently, the rice is sufficiently, automatically washed simply by putting the rice into the rice housing container, connecting the container to a city water supply pipe and supplying the city water thereto.
