Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the ridge part backing materials with sealing strips which do not need other accessory tiles other than pantiles.SOLUTION: Ridge part backing materials with sealing strips include: sealing strip plates 2 that are erected at forward end parts of base plates 1 located above pantiles during roofing; engaging plates 3 that are erected to tail-side end surfaces of pantiles at rear end parts; and lateral plates 4 that are erected at both sides of base plate 1 and attachable and accessible to crosspiece-side portions and insertion-side portions on top faces of the pantiles. In the ridge part backing materials with sealing strips, the engaging plates 3 are hooked to the tail-side end surfaces of pantiles and are simply placed on the upper part of the pantiles, so that sealing strip parts can be formed. Consequently, another materials other than the pantiles are needed, but any pantiles can be used and it is possible to eliminate the need for dedicated accessory tiles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
