PURPOSE: To form the good ring rolled shape at low cost, by suitably arranging the freely rotatable and freely longitudinally slidable driving roller on the machine bed, the freely rotatable and elevating rolling roll, the guide roller for specifiedly holding the ring type work, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is constituted of following devices; the driving roller 5 possible to freely rotate and to freely longitudinally slide on the machine bed 1; the guide rollers 20, 20, arranged opposite to the outer surface of the driving roller 5 so as to press and hold the outer diameter of the ring type blank work W and to trail the forming work while restraining the breadth of the work W; and a pair of side rolles 23, etc. The ring type work W made of the aluminum alloy, etc., is carried in onto the member 27, and is fitted and set to the roller 5 in the longitudinal position, and is reduced by the rolling roller 15 so as to obtain the diameter contracted work W1. Since the work W is carried in without changeing the position, and is formed and discharged, the working efficiency is good, and the automation of the apparatus can be realized.
