PURPOSE: To reduce driving noise and facilitate maintenance and inspection by connecting a shower head supported by a base in such a manner as to be capable of freely rising and falling with a hydraulic cylinder so that the shower head is raised and fallen by water pressure.

CONSTITUTION: The bar part 13 of the base part of a shower head 1 is held by a counter 12a as the base plate 12 of a washbowl 11 through a sliding holding part 14 in such a manner as to be capable of freely rising and falling and also rotating. A ring body 16 mounted on the top end of the cylinder rod 15 of a hydraulic cylinder 2 is only rotatably fitted into and held by the lower end of the bar part 13, and the shower head 1 is raised by the extension of the hydraulic cylinder 2 and lowered by the contraction thereof. The water channel passed through a stop cock 17 is branched to connect the hydraulic cylinder 2 and the shower head 1 in parallel to each other, and a drainage channel 3 from the hydraulic cylinder 2 is combined with a water supply channel 18 to the shower head 1, and the supply channel 18 is provided with a manual valve 20 manually operated by a handle 19. A switching valve 5b is provided in the water supply channel 4 to the hydraulic cylinder 2, and a switching valve 5a in the drainage channel 3.
