Title:
RIVER BED-BURIED TYPE INTAKE CHANNEL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0355309
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit the construction of an intake channel facility not to give influence to scene by a method in which an intake part formed by excavating river bed, a water-permeable filter, a water conveyance path, and an intake facility to take water from dam and river are all set under the ground.

CONSTITUTION: The river bed 12 where water 11 flows in the direction of A is excavated to form an intake part 13, and the upside of the intake part 13 is covered with a water-permeable filter 14 by utilizing the moving water gradient of river water along the surface of the bed 12. Water 11 is taken into the part 13 so formed and taken out the water conveyance path leading to the part 13. All of the part 13, the filter 14, the water conveyance path, and the intake facility to take water from dam and river are set under the ground. The intake facility not to exert influence on scene can thus be constructed, promoting the development of undeveloped water power areas requiring making allowances for environment and scene.
