Abstract:
To provide a river flow rate estimation system capable of acquiring a river flow rate by using an image obtained by capturing an image of a river without calculating a flow velocity.SOLUTION: A river flow rate estimation system for estimating a flow rate of a river based on an observation image obtained by capturing an image of the river, includes flow regime simulation means and display control means. The flow regime simulation means calculates a river water level at each place by using a three-dimensional terrain model, and the display control means displays a drawn image while changing a viewpoint and a visual line direction. The river flow rate estimation system can estimate the flow rate of the river included in the observation image by comparing the observation image with the drawn image, while changing the flow rate to be input in the flow regime simulation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
