Abstract:
To provide a road surface condition detection device that can acquire information relating to a friction coefficient of a road surface more accurately while avoiding increase in size of a device and increase in cost thereof, and to provide a road surface condition distribution system that uses the road surface condition detection device.SOLUTION: A road surface condition detection device 10 comprises: a detection unit 160 for detecting a condition of a road surface; an input unit 140 for inputting specific information relating to a category of the road surface; and a friction information calculation unit 111 that calculates actual friction information relating to a friction coefficient at a current time of the road surface on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit 160 and the specific information. The friction information calculation unit 111 is configured to define a correlation relationship between a membrane thickness of a sediment for each kind of the sediment on the road surface and the friction coefficient of the road surface on the basis of the specific information, and calculate actual friction information on the basis of the defined correlation relationship and the detection result of the detection unit 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
